Focus and Scope

Scope and Topics
Reflecting its mandate to analyze dynamic interactions across diverse academic domains, the journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, systematic interdisciplinary reviews, complex systems modeling studies, and transdisciplinary field evaluations within the following thematic areas:

Socio-Technical Systems & Digital Transformation: Human-AI interaction dynamics, computational social science, cyber-physical infrastructure modeling, and social impacts of emerging technologies.

Complex Environmental Systems & Eco-Dynamics: Climate adaptation modeling, socio-ecological resilience, urban metabolism systems, circular economy frameworks, and multi-scale environmental dynamics.

Bio-Engineering, Health Informatics & Applied Life Sciences: Integrative biomedical systems, digital health technologies, computational biology models, and epidemiological dynamics.

Cross-Domain Applied Data Analytics & Modeling: Network science, predictive analytics in complex environments, machine learning applications across disciplines, and multi-agent system simulations.

Interdisciplinary Governance, Economics & Public Policy: Cross-sector policy design, techno-economic impact modeling, systemic risk management, and governance of disruptive innovations.

Publication Frequency
To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and the timely dissemination of multidisciplinary research, CJMD is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues focusing on complex systems dynamics, AI-driven cross-domain analytics, or global sustainability transformations may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.
