IJBLC: International Journal of Business Law and Commercial Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing pioneering research at the dynamic intersection of commercial jurisprudence, corporate governance, and global business practices. Positioned as a premier scholarly forum, the journal serves legal scholars, corporate counsels, business strategists, economists, and public policymakers worldwide. IJBLC prioritizes macro-level regulatory evaluations, rigorous doctrinal legal research, and empirical commercial studies that address the complexities of modern trade, corporate accountability, and market compliance. By bridging classical legal frameworks with contemporary business disruptions, the journal fosters a deep, comprehensive understanding of how commercial laws are drafted, interpreted, and enforced to promote fair trade, economic resilience, and ethical corporate expansion in a hyper-connected global economy.

Scope and Topics
The journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, critical legal reviews, and comprehensive commercial case studies that offer significant contributions to the following thematic areas:

Corporate Law & Governance: Mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate social responsibility (CSR) compliance, shareholder rights, antitrust regulations, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) legal frameworks.

Commercial Contracts & Dispute Resolution: International commercial arbitration, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), cross-border contract enforcement, and comparative commercial litigation.

International Trade & Economic Law: WTO regulations, transnational trade agreements, foreign direct investment (FDI) frameworks, and customs/tariff laws.

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in Business: Patent law, trademark protection, copyright in the digital age, technology transfer agreements, and the commercialization of innovation.

Digital Commerce & Financial Technology (FinTech) Law: E-commerce regulations, data privacy and cybersecurity laws, cryptocurrency and blockchain regulation, smart contracts, and digital banking compliance.

Publication Frequency
To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and timely dissemination of critical legal-commercial research, IJBLC is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues focusing on urgent international trade disputes, rapid shifts in digital commercial laws, or major corporate regulatory reforms may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process
IJBLC enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, analytical objectivity, and legal validity.

  • Initial Desk Evaluation: Every submission undergoes a preliminary screening by the Editor-in-Chief or a relevant Subject Editor to assess thematic alignment, methodological soundness (doctrinal, normative, or empirical), and structural compliance. Plagiarism screening via Turnitin/iThenticate is strictly executed at this stage, requiring a similarity index below the journal's maximum threshold.
  • Expert Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the desk evaluation are anonymized and assigned to at least two independent international reviewers who are established academic experts or senior practitioners in the specific domain of business law or commercial studies.
  • Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board renders one of four decisions: Acceptance, Revisions Required (Minor/Major), Resubmit for Review, or Rejection. The final decision rests entirely on the intellectual merit, legal rigor, and practical applicability of the work to the commercial sector.

Mission Statement: "The mission of IJBLC is to deconstruct complex regulatory barriers and catalyze ethical, transparent, and legally sound business practices within a rapidly evolving global market.
