Reflecting its mandate to advance knowledge engineering, global information architectures, and systemic data integration, the journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, systematic literature reviews, computational system evaluations, and empirical case studies within the following thematic areas:

Global Information Systems & Digital Architecture: Cross-border data infrastructure, cloud-native knowledge repositories, enterprise content management (ECM), and interoperable information architectures.

AI-Driven Knowledge Systems & Decision Intelligence: Integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) with knowledge bases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, expert systems, and automated reasoning tools.

Organizational Knowledge Management & Learning Systems: Institutional memory preservation, cross-organizational knowledge sharing, tacit-to-explicit knowledge conversion models, and collaborative knowledge ecosystems.

To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and the timely dissemination of knowledge systems research, IJGKS is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues focusing on generative AI integration with knowledge graphs, sovereign data space architectures, or cross-border knowledge management may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.
