Integrix Journal of Global Knowledge Systems (IJGKS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing pioneering research on knowledge management architectures, global information systems, enterprise knowledge graphs, digital knowledge infrastructure, and cross-border data governance. Centered on the structural integration ("Integrix") of complex data, human intelligence, and automated systems, the journal serves as a premier scholarly forum for knowledge engineers, information systems architects, computer scientists, organizational knowledge strategists, and digital policy analysts worldwide. IJGKS prioritizes high-impact empirical research, ontological modeling, knowledge graph development, semantic web applications, and global data integration frameworks. By bridging information technology, cognitive computing, and global organizational dynamics, the journal fosters a deep, comprehensive understanding of how integrated knowledge architectures drive decision intelligence, institutional memory, and collaborative global innovation.

Scope and Topics
Reflecting its mandate to advance knowledge engineering, global information architectures, and systemic data integration, the journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, systematic literature reviews, computational system evaluations, and empirical case studies within the following thematic areas:

Knowledge Engineering, Ontologies & Semantic Web: Knowledge representation frameworks, ontology engineering, semantic data integration, enterprise knowledge graphs, and Linked Open Data (LOD) systems.
Global Information Systems & Digital Architecture: Cross-border data infrastructure, cloud-native knowledge repositories, enterprise content management (ECM), and interoperable information architectures.
AI-Driven Knowledge Systems & Decision Intelligence: Integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) with knowledge bases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, expert systems, and automated reasoning tools.
Organizational Knowledge Management & Learning Systems: Institutional memory preservation, cross-organizational knowledge sharing, tacit-to-explicit knowledge conversion models, and collaborative knowledge ecosystems.
Knowledge Governance, Data Sovereignty & Information Ethics: Cross-border data policy, privacy-preserving knowledge sharing, intellectual property in digital knowledge bases, and global knowledge equity.

Publication Frequency
To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and the timely dissemination of knowledge systems research, IJGKS is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues focusing on generative AI integration with knowledge graphs, sovereign data space architectures, or cross-border knowledge management may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process
IJGKS enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of scientific integrity, computational accuracy, and methodological validity across computer science, information systems, and knowledge management disciplines.
  • Initial Desk Evaluation: Every submission undergoes a preliminary screening by the Editor-in-Chief or a relevant Subject Editor to assess thematic alignment, methodological soundness (ontological modeling rigor, computational system validation, empirical software evaluations, or architectural design depth), and structural compliance. Plagiarism screening via Turnitin/iThenticate is strictly executed at this stage, requiring a similarity index below the journal's maximum threshold.
  • Expert Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the desk evaluation are anonymized and assigned to at least two independent international reviewers who are established academic researchers, knowledge engineers, or senior information systems specialists in the relevant domain.
  • Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board renders one of four decisions: Acceptance, Revisions Required (Minor/Major), Resubmit for Review, or Rejection. The final decision rests entirely on intellectual merit, technical rigor, empirical validation, and broader scientific or industrial impact.

Mission Statement: "The mission of the Integrix Journal of Global Knowledge Systems (IJGKS) is to advance the state of the art in knowledge representation, digital information structures, and enterprise data integration, enabling seamless knowledge synthesis across global networks. Grounded in the philosophy that solving complex global challenges requires interconnected, accessible, and highly structured knowledge systems, the journal aims to democratize information science research by providing an unrestricted platform for global academic, technological, and policy dialogue. Through the promotion of diverse, rigorous computational, architectural, and empirical methodologies, IJGKS seeks to empower knowledge architects, inspire information scientists, and shape future-proof, highly integrated global knowledge paradigms worldwide."
